Wow. Just Wow! — The Prayer Exchange, Day 1

Do you ever have moments in your life when you feel like you’re supposed to be doing something—but that “something” feels awkward, uncomfortable, and maybe even a little unpopular?

Even taking the first step feels like a risk… let alone scheduling it, showing up, and actually walking into it.

That was today.

To say God is good is an understatement.

I started attending Chamber events in early July 2026 while making a pivot with my real estate business within this interesting market and economy. I found myself uncomfortable on those first few visits with the Chamber, yet intrigued enough to come back to the next one… and then the next one.

As a believer, in professional environments, it can be risky enough being transparent about who I am in Him—especially while finding my place among some of the most brilliant and innovative business professionals in our community.

But somewhere in the middle of it all, I began hearing the Holy Spirit whisper an initiative.

Then I met Simeon from Hope323 and the Scan Spa.

As we began discovering each other’s beliefs, visions, and hearts for this community, it became clear that the Lord had been whispering to him, too.

And then there was Juliana from SevenMade.

Because we had Chamber coffee together every Monday morning throughout the month of September, it became clear that SevenMade was the exact place to hold this prayer meeting. Juliana’s heart for the Lord is so good, and the building itself had been prayed over during construction.

The Lord was already at work. We just didn’t know it.

Different people. Different journeys. Different experiences.

Yet somehow, He was weaving together the intricate details that brought us all into one room today for…

The Prayer Exchange — Day 1.

The Prayer Exchange, Day 1, at SevenMade Coffee in Clermont

I honestly don’t know how to thank everyone who came.

I am in awe of the God I serve.

Not only is He faithful and true, but He still leads. He still speaks. He still calls His children into places and purposes we may not completely understand when we first hear the whisper.

What a privilege and honor it is to be part of a plan created by Him—for you, for me, and for the community we serve.

We all are quite aware that this is a difficult and uncertain season for many of us individually and throughout the world - just turn on the news, look at your social media newsfeed, buy some groceries, or just listen to the words spoken by our friends and family.

With that - let’s do our best to remember to hold on tightly to the ONE who holds every strand together perfectly in this imperfect world, knowing that we are His.

Let’s do our best to remember that the more refined we become, the more brilliant His light can reflect through us into the dark places of this uncertain world.

We are the light.

And today, that light got a little brighter in Clermont.

Praise the Lord!

Thank you! From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
